Nidalee

I do agree she is somewhat overhyped, a lee sin or a elise and hell even kindred have the same ammount of early game pressure that Nidalee does and in my opinion are even easier to pull off

Why?

Nidalee, is 100% dependent on how good the nidalee is with landing skill shots and how bad the enemy team is at dodging them. It goes down to, if she lands a spear you probably just killed yourself, if she misses, you are completely safe. Why? for if she lands it, she probably just got some good burst on you, can now get her leap and follow that up with more burst along with a reset to allow her to jump all over you. Basically the entire combo of destruction starts with her landing the spear, you get speared, you die, you don't get speared, you live. Fair deal.

The other three champions I mentioned however

Lee Sin- Still has his E to slow you, so if he misses he can just walk up to you and use his slow depending on where you are, depending on his level or cooldown he also has his kick which in my opinion is a very powerful fusion of displacement, burst and cc. Lee sin has things he can do even if he misses his Gap closer Q, and that's the funny part, Q doesnt have to be his gap closer, he can sneek in a ward hop through W

Elise- While the caccon is the primary form of how she ganks, her leap places her right ontop of you which will then be followed up with burst and harrass, so if you made the mistake of pushing to far, even if she misses the caccon the burst she has with the rest of her toolkit is still gonna hit you, which at the end of the day is what killed you, not her stun.

Kindred-A guarentee slow with a harrass ability that lowers her gap closer/chase ability to a none existant cooldown, super easy and safe ganks.

So yeah is nidalee good? Yes, but I never understood why people called her the queen of the jungle when these other three champions are very fierce contenders.

It is almost like she got nerfed.
