Ping Spam

Parceval··3 votes·655 views

I just had a game where an "unknown" member of my team kept pinging, every two seconds, until another member quit. After asking the 'pinger' to stop dozens of times, saying they would quit if they didn't stop, and then finally quitting. Of course, then the game went on to be close, and the afk player looked like 'bad guy' because we lost a very winnable 4v5.

The truth is that ping spam is IMMENSELY annoying. Why are there secret pings? Why can't we mute pings? It's insane. Especially because it negates the entire purpose of the ping since all important information becomes just noise.

Please Riot. Remove secret pings. Let us mute pings.

Agreed. Ping spam is a problem that needs to be addressed.
