New Requirement For Ranked

So I've been finding it frustrating to play ranked last couple days because someone is always trying to play the new champ. My problem with this is that I can almost guarantee they have almost no experience with the champ and it shows. Almost every Jihn I've played with in ranked (regardless of whether they were on my team or against me) has fed like crazy.

Now obviously I'm not the only one feeling this way because I've seen several post on the topic lately, including the person (sorry for not remembering who to credit) asking if they can be considered a dick for banning the new champ when they see someone on their team wanting to play it, which I have been doing since day 1. However this problem is not isolated just to recently released champs. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen "first time XXX" in ranked games. I mean Yeah it works out sometimes but seriously wtf made you think it was a good idea to try out a champ for the first time in ranked. [zombie-brand-mindblown] I think a simple in fair solution to this would be having to have a minimum mastery on a champ before you can play it in ranked. I'm not saying you need to be lvl 5 master on champ to play it in ranked but having say lvl 2 ensures that you at least have enough games with the champ under your belt to understand how they work as well as how to deal with various situations with the champ. I think it is reasonable expectation for both you and your teammates that when someone plays a champ in ranked that they know what they are doing.
