Why I Don't Spend Money On This Game Anymore

Just had a guy ask for ADC, and I tell him no, I'd rather ADC, I mean I did get the role.

In retaliation, he locks in Caitlyn top lane, and says I don't deserve to win. He dies once, then disconnects for the remainder of the game. We hold out for 35-ish minutes, before finally losing. We would have actually destroyed them if that player stayed and tried to win.

To really rub salt in the wound, he reconnected after the loss, to add me. Yeah.

Autofill is probably the worst thing to happen to this game. You can keep your broken/unfun champions, Kai'Sa, Jhin, Zed, Yasuo, LeBlanc, whatever. I don't care. Autofill has made this game worse. I'll gladly accept a longer queue time over having to play with people that act this way if they don't land the role they wanted. I don't always get mine, but I don't lock in shit like Caitlyn top or Kennen support if I do.

Give me longer queue times over Autofill, please. If nothing else, give us separate queues. One where you choose to wait longer to have all roles filled, or one where you get the Autofill feature.

Please make me want to spend money on your game again. I've invested well over 2K in dumb stuff like icons, skins, hundreds of boxes, and gifting. But I can't justify doing it anymore.

Edit: Before I get people in here telling me I should have dodged, I dodged twice this morning over similar trolls/threats. I can't keep doing it. Why does this happen? Autofill.

so do you want to go back to the old days where first pick gets their role, so literally every pick after that is auto fill? I mean the current system is 100x better than previous anyway. I guess this version of autofill was worse than the everyone but fp is autofill anyway.

I refuse to spend a cent until Riot brings back Ascension and/or Dominion permanently.

I agree with this 100%, and the funny thing is because of people who will dodge if autofilled (to support for example) the Queues are probably Just as long and in some cases even longer.

Watching some high elo streamers in high diamond I've seen them having ~40 minute queues sometimes because of dodges (and rightly so, especially in high elo if your support or adc is autofilled your botlane is immediately at a large disadvantage).

I agree that the addition of autofill has caused more harm than good for the game.

I dont spend money on it because all they care about is bot, barely even play this game anymore.

Friendly reminder that this is reportable and you can get them punished meanwhile in the good ol' days without role select it was significantly more common to have someone take the queue hostage.
