Delay allowing NEW champs in ranked
This provides some time for a champ to adjust to what players can do with her. and doesnt give us all a rage moment when a freelo champ comes out until nerf batted.

My friend won all his promo games yesterday. Why?
Because the enemy team had a terrible Kalista all the times that was 100% a first timer.
I always stay out of ranked when a new champion comes out because somebody will pick him or feed, or it will be banned and a ban slot will be wasted.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but I do agree that new champions need to stay out of ranked queue for weeks at a time.
I wish they weren't allowed in ranked at first. I've lost too many games because some noob on my team just wanted to use the new champion and picked the new champion even when we already had someone for that role, and then played really badly. It's not that big of a deal with me if people want to play the new champion, but they should be more encouraged to do so outside of ranked.
I don't like the idea of having to use up a ban to stop your own team from using a certain champion.
Or you can just use a ban......
This is one of the many reasons bans exist though, its a champion you're uncomfortable playing against so right now you're kind of forced to ~~
