The new ranking system

Placements this season are complete bs, and I would like to hear Riot's view on why this new system makes any sense. I went 5 and 5 for placement, with an overall kda of about 14 and I am apparently Bronze 4 material. Even the games I lost I was doing great, but somehow I am only one tier above the worst players that play this game? I could have went afk for all of my games and only went one tier lower. But instead I put in absolute work and get Shrek't by this new system.

I feel like some answers are in order here.

Yeah same here, i got placed in Bronze 3 but now have been demoted because in Bronze, people who don't get there roles, seem to think trolling is the next option... Just saying Riot, maybe letting me get paired with kids that aren't trolls would be nice....

I went 5-5 in provisional and did really well in all my games but one. Still ended up in bronze 5 the same as last session..... I really think riot should do something about placements....this is shit.......

it seems like it does not matter how well you do its random...my friend ranked and he is really bad I won 2 games for him in his provisional then he solo q the rest and lost 8....so he went 2-8 and played really bad made silver 5

It only takes 4 wins to hit promos.

then you gotta win 2 out of 3 games. good luck on that in bronze where people afk and leave constantly but riot doesnt really cares because its bronze.

^ this. The problem isn't getting to promos, it's the fact that anybody can see you're in promos and 9/10 times someone on your team will think it's the funniest thing in the world to feed so you don't get promoted. I won 5 straight games to get to promo today, and immediately after lost the next 4. It's annoying that because we're "bronze" we don't get the same support as the higher tiers.

I'm winning games but I still losing mmr wtf riot I checked my op.gg mmr and I won twice but still lose mmr and I did perfectly well wtf is going on with this glitch in the game wtf dude op.gg is very inaccurate now for some reason.
