Hey Malicious! Need some help with Morde!

Hey hey! So I just played a game against a Morde mid as LeBlanc and he totally kicked my ass. Like really hard. I had no idea what he was doing but everytime I went in for my combo he just decimated me. I looked at his moveset and was wondering what should I have done in that situation? Should I have roamed more or would I have been able to kill him if I played a different way? Is he a counter to Leblanc? I also main characters like Ahri and Zyra, which are kite and control mages, do they far well against morde? Thanks so much if you respond! And definitely if anyone else can help I appreciate the feedback!

I believe you have to say his name three times. Or write it backwards on a mirror or something.

Im not as experienced, but its my understanding that lb kind of fails against morde because he can use WE every time she dashes onto him to negate a huge chunk of it while also getting damage off on her.

If she tries to just poke with her other two spells they dont do enough damage to really force him back.

Zyra seems like a pain in the ass for morde. In fact, the plant bitch is a pain in the ass for every juggernaut.

Ah ok I see what he was doing now. I guess if it happens again I'll roam to other lanes to get kills and ask for help from my jungle :) thanks

Mordekaiser counters assassin due to him becoming really tanky, negating most aggression with his shield and having some very high damage himself.

You should have roamed more.

Ahri is very safe and can harass him easier due to her mobility and sustain.

Honestly though, with Mordekaiser you have to abuse his level 1-2. Against a melee champion he can possibly get away with his weaker early due to his E, but leblanc has a dash nuke, and your level 2 is far stronger than his. A Q+W thunderlords combo will chunk Morde hard. The trick is to damage Mordekaiser before he damages you otherwise you are trading with his shield

Hm ok, I see. I enjoy playing some mages at top lane when we have a tanker support and jungle, how does Cass and lissandra fair against him?

Cassio is hell for any Morde.

Lissandra is by far my favorite top lane matchup. She goes oom fast, lacks damage on morde but she's kinda safe.

Fine by me, I like farm lanes.
