In-Game Voice chat increases chances to win games and reduces rage!

I noticed whenever I played Dota 2 and CS GO, I win a lot more with in game communication. Just like any other game you can mute a player if they are simply annoying or whatever reason. I did a study and saw 76% of the players who tried in- game voice has increased their win ratio by 40%. Which would make in - game so much easier to communicate in teamfights rather than typing who to focus or back we need to heal. This is a teamwork game and requires communication to make it a complete teamwork game. Bump or message below about how you feel about in game voice

Studies have shown time and time again that this is NOT the case for the majority of people. Lemme see if I can find the Riot post on the topic.

Yeah I don't need a twelve year old practicing all of his profanities right in my ear every match.

I hate talking on the phone with people I know IRL.

Why would talking to people I don't know on the internet be any good?

And any time the topic comes up on the forums I'd feel like that grumpy guy who just starts every game with 'mute all'

More/better pings rather, currently we have two danger pings, we could be well served with a bit more variety there, as well as some dedicated spreading of how to ping well and what you can expect pings to mean.

i did a study... sure you did. If by "study" you mean getting yourself as high as possible while bashing your head into a wall thinking about what numbers you are going to use then yes you did a "study"

Having someone being able to tell you to drink Bleach in audio form doesn't make your team more likely to win, it only makes it harder to report them.

Well I mean regardless of what game you play you will face younger players. But like I said you can mute a player if you wish. Its to make the people who want communications in game more comfortable and easier to play with rather than typing all the time. When people type they are basically like invisible. They can yell all they want and won't feel the guilty of what they said. Now talking is different. It allows the player to interact with the other player and make it more easier to communicate. Just an idea.

It's a team based game, effective communication can help win tough games. With all things held constant, 2 equally matched teams, the one with better communication will be more likely to hold it together for a comeback, press together to win on advantage, have a more enjoyable time winning, and even more enjoyable time losing a close game. There's no denying this, the only argument really left is that the community itself is too childish and toxic to play together.

Childish and toxic players will be who they are regardless of communication type. They will be toxic in both systems and eventually force you to mute (albeit chat is a bit more annoying). There's no real difference there, but in voice at least the toxic person complaining can just speak his peace and move on when he realizes he's been muted. As opposed to the toxic guy typing in his argument while ur base is being razed.

My experience with voice comes from dota games. Sure lots of annoying ppl; music players, foreigners, nasally toxic ragers, nothing mute won't fix. But there are more times than not i'll find 2-3 players that are willing to talk out a strategy and work together. I mean when shit hits the fan and its a landslide loss sure toxicity is high, but game is already lost u can just mute at that point.
