I agree with this decision, for once they nerf the users who have higher benefits, rather than nerfing the item that half or more of the magic damage champions use

Attack outliers.

I could actually not care less if they nerf the champ or item.

I would support removing cooldown abundance on a bunch of items tho

inb4 moderators find a reason to remove this.

Lol.

But really, if that item makes them OP, is there such a problem with nerfing it so that it's usable by other champs? I guess I just don't see that big of a difference.

It's pretty much whatever has happened to Kleptomancy. It becomes too strong on some champions, and they are faced with a choice.

  1. Nerf the item/rune, so it will be balanced around it's best users, but it will leave the item/rune weak for all the other users that can't use it at it's optimal value.

  2. Nerf the champion, so that the champion is balanced around the item/rune. The item/rune will still be strong on every users, but this options forces the nerfed champions to get the item 100% of the time otherwise they'll be weak. Much like how GP will probably only be relevent while using Kleptomancy post-nerf, since he is balanced around the rune.

I'm telling you, if they will nerf any champion that uses Liandry, the first one to get hit will be Teemo.
