SHARE: Speccing Precision alongside Sorcery or Domination grants you some stats from your primary tree and some from your secondary tree PRECISION-DOMINATION ~~18% attack speed~~ ⇒ 9% attack speed, 9 ability power or 5 attack damage DOMINATION-PRECISION ~~18 ability power or 10.8 attack damage~~ ⇒ 9% attack speed, 9 ability power or 5 attack damage PRECISION-SORCERY ~~18% attack speed~~ ⇒ 9% attack speed, 10 ability power or 6 attack damage SORCERY-PRECISION ~~20 ability power or 12 attack damage~~ ⇒ 9% attack speed, 10 ability power or 6 attack damage

Now that Precision gives you attack speed bonus when chosen as secondary. Could presence of mind rune be moved from Precision into inspiration, sorcery or maybe even domination? Only benefits from this change while other mages (most notably and some others) really don't want that attack speed bonus and would much rather have extra ap in their already not so good early game. Seems kinda bad that only 1 guy who already was in spotlight for so long gets to have a cake and eat it.

If Riot deleted Manaflow Band and replaced it with Presence of Mind I wouldn't miss it.

Attack speed on Kassadin could be helpful during his weak early phase to get the cs.

I haven't reviewed things, but there's also Ezreal , KogMaw , Lulu , Shaco (though not entirely sure about him), Teemo

it probably depends upon the build and preferences for who it affects

Not that Precision is a clearcut path, but why would mages go the attack speed tree if they don't scale with AS? There are plenty that do well with it... Teemo Diana Azir KogMaw Kayle ... Maybe not the most clearcut bunch, but there is an item basically based basically entirely around it... item 3115 .

That said, my personal preference is reworking Precision into a bruiser tree, based around the +% damage (aka + base damage) it already is heavy in, maybe better tankiness options (not bad in it now), and throw all attack speed into Sorcery, drop most of the +AD/AP from Sorcery, and make it the AS/CDR route, adaptive from what you've already bought most of. The bruiser adaptations have been sad, to be honest, and skirmishers that specialize in speedy fight patterns (not mobility necessarily) should get their own tree. I think AS/CDR fighters has been the quiet UP (compared to the loud UP in tanky bruisers) in the League of Damage that has sprung up.

If you pick it as the secondary tree you don't get the attack speed bonus unless your primary tree is inspiration or resolve.

Even having said that I still agree that it makes no sense there, it should be in sourcery or inspiration tree.

There are a lot of AP champions that need attack speed not just Azir. Its fine where it is.

You're very basic.

Lucian Presence of Mind + Manflow Band = replace essence reaver build with classic item 3153 item 3031 item 3071 item 3094 and never have mana issues in teamfights.

Twitch and Tristana bypass their mana costs in their resets on Q and W respectively.

Kayle benefits far better from presence of mind than triumph or overheal as she has a heal built in her kit.

Vayne She doesn't get resets (although her ultimate gets extensions) it allows her to keep tumbling as her maximum mana is one of the lowest. Ult and E alone cost 160 mana and already eat up 20% of her total just starting the fight off with her ulti.

Until you even try in practice how useful the rune might be, don't bash it just because you spent 2 minutes theory crafting.

i think the actual balance strategy would be to just remove all starting bonuses tied to each tree so nobody is fucked over for wanting to dip into another tree. like yea i really would like the tenacity and hp return on kill/assist from the precision tree but Singed is complete garbage without starting ap and attack speed means nothing to him. remove the starting stats and adjust starting stats to compensate so champs aren't pigeon holed into certain trees

Gonna kinda suck for Eve, too, or other champions that do exceptional damage to low health targets.

Then again, should be fine for everyone. Losing 9 AP isn't the end of the world. Would help out early farming a bit.
