His ult is actually crappy by itself with the rework, you have to set it up with W and E to maximise your damage because his ultimate damage got scrapped and got replaced with his old W %dmg. Gameplay-wise his ult is for suppressing, not for dealing tons of damage.

The reason why the silence is justifiable to exist on Malzahar is because it's balanced the way it works. There is a delay and it's not a traditional linear skillshot (he can't just shoot it at his opponents general direction in hopes of getting away from a chase).

To be honest, I'd be more concerned with how OP his new W ability will be, not his Q or ult.

His Void Swarm is already getting nerfed for its absurd use in the jungle. Want proof of how OP his jungle is with Void Swarm when it was first launched in PBE? Check this:

As an avid Malzahar player right now (and will continue to play him after MYMU) his ult ALONE as is, won't do shit. He is a combo mage first and formost. If he doesn't drop everying on a target and hits everything his DoT will end them quickly (so to speak). He won't outright kill anyone with his ult alone though unless they are ridicously low already.

QSS is a neutral item it isn't AP nor AD

It only builds into an AD item, though, making it definitely more valuable for AD champions to get because they can finish the item later.

yea but the problem is, it is meant to be built into a final ad item. It takes up space that could be used for something that benefits multiple stats, but the cleanse is also helpful. So either you get it and throw away a spot for other beneficial stats or don't get it and get those stats but deal with the ult and silence.

It is more valuable for ad champs than ap champs because it is not a final item, it is meant to be built into an ad item that does the same thing and more

Are you sure it's meant to be finished?

And how often are you reaching full build in this Meta? cause if your not, it wouldn't matter if QSS get's upgraded into MS or not. You would get QSS for the debuff remover, and continue with your normal build.

The only time MS would be a rush is if you also wanted the LS that went with it.

All these down votes. I guess you would feel outplayed and compliment the malz when you're point and clicked suppressed for over 2 seconds and your hp bar goes to 0.

Malzahar is completely manageable to lane against unless you're melee or short range like Vayne and Teemo. He is a counterpick to melees for that reason.

I wholeheartedly agree. There should be some other items tied in with QSS. Not specifically requesting it be AP, but maybe throw some health or additional armor on there with it. Because, if you're not AD and you're facing a team with a brutal lockdown (Morgana snare, Fizz ult, etc) and you'd like to counter those abilities, all you're left with is an item with MR.

Also.. you should probably rename the thread. Makes you sound whiny and its not really relevant to the message you're trying to get across.
