that they should use the pbe to test stuff and tweak it as opposed to the way they do it now?

release an item, make 1 or no changes to it, then release it to live and spend like 10 patches nerfing champions...then the item?

seems to me like this could all be avoided if pbe was used correctly to judge and tweak stuff as opposed to the way they do it now? (only way i can describe is putting stuff out, looking what people say about it, doing nothing with that information, then releasing it to live which warrants nerfs to champions then eventually the item and in some cases remove the item totally even after nerfing champions because of the deleted item? cough feral flare cough)

The public beta isn't really for balance testing. It's for bug testing for any glaring bugs. Even then, the amount of people on the PBE is a minuscule fraction of the amount on live, and thus bugs do slip through sometimes. Unless they replaced everyone on the PBE with paid highly skilled testers it is highly unlikely any form of balancing could come from it.

um...they only give out so many accounts could be a problem

and does it take a highly skilled tester to realize people like vayne/yi/shyv etc are broken with this new devourer? honestly it doesnt take a genious to get the item and see its pretty broken, or that it keeps the same bad mentality of feral flare when its fk the team im afk farming

im not saying every bug would be caught and fixed, but atm it doesnt seem like they even test stuff out or evaluate it on the pbe...not only that but they seem to be making the same mistake pretty much adding this new item when all it seems like is feralflare 2.0, they removed it because it made some champs broken and gave the afk farm mentality

i see the same problem with the new item....

Right now it's basically a place for 10 year olds to play stuff their parents won't give them the money to buy.
