Help me I'm Bronze and can't find a main

Alright, so here's the thing. I am stuck in unending "win one lose one" streak, and I can seem to climb at all. It's so difficult when your next game undoes your all the progress from your last game. So basically, I'm just looking for advice on how to win more really, which I guess isn't that surprising of a question.

Right now I play mostly jungle, but I also do a lot of top/mid, even support if it's needed. I am having a hard time figuring out which champs to play, and even which ones are strong right now outside the permabanned obvious. My favorite champs are usually either bursty skirmishers or tanks, so really any suggestions along those lines on who to learn/main would be great. I'm pretty sure having a core two or three will help me win more, but it's just hard to find ones that are consistent and enjoyable.

Other than that I've really already looked at all the general advice. Try not to tilt, check, that doesn't happen to me. Push objectives, check, I do whenever I can safely. I've been following all these things are there are still many games where I win lane, get extremely strong, and yet we still lose because a teammate feeds or no one else pushes turrets or secures objectives. There are also games where I just plain suck. That happens too, but it's usually more obvious what I need to do to fix there.

So uhh yeah, any advice/champ recommendations would be great! Thanks!

Oh yeah, I linked my op.gg so you can see my absolutely perfect 50% win rate. Which keeps me right in the same freaking spot: high B5.

Shen shen's a really strong skirmishing tank that can go top support or jungle. Elise Is a really good burst jungler that you could also build as a skirmisher if you want.Fizz A great burst damage mid but you'll need to practice him a lot to get better at him

I actually own all three of those champs xD Fizz I have level 4 right now I think, and he's usually one of my go to mid's between him, Azir, and Ekko. Elise I enjoy, just haven't gotten into all that much. Ill definitely start trying her out more though! Thanks!

Poppy's been helping me climb quite a bit lately. For bronze, you'll want to find champs that you are good with that can carry in most circumstances. I'm sure there are plenty, but one of them for me is Diana. If you're doing OK and the team might not be doing great, she can still insta-burst most of the enemy team and help turn the tides.

As far as B5/low bronze goes, take objectives and learn when to fight and when not to. It can be tempting to try to help a team mate but if it's a 1v4 don't go in just to help them. Gtfo of there. Better for them to pick one kill than 2. Learn when to push and when to group. Try to ward so you won't get caught out.

Bronze is a pain but honestly those basic things can get you at least to B3 or B2 without actually being that great.

I'm only B1 atm though, just my advice. S2 last season and S4 in S4. Still trying to get better and I know bronze is a pain

Well I'd say there's two ways to go about it:

  1. Push. Push all day. No matter what is happening, you find the lane without enemies and you push it out. Jax Tryndamere MonkeyKing MasterYiUdyr , just take towers, teleport, take inhibs, but never stop because objectives win games. Don't forget to ward.

  2. Pick a character who has massive influence on fights. Someone with enough damage and utility to be strong when fed, but useful when behind. Ekko Malphite Lux Anivia Kayle Darius . Always group, kill the carries, protect your teammates, and be the driving force of the team.

Find the style that suits you. Play champions who make you feel good, and maybe have a little bit of a skill requirement so you can outplay enemies.

Not only is this.. well.. not really optimal to say the least, the thread is 2 years old, fam. I'm pretty sure he found a main in the meantime
