if you dont lock in you deserve your ban
im happy that riot is finally punishing people who just leave queues. im sick of these people who join ranked and sit there and waste our time when we are trying to get into a match.

The point is that people forget that they have to Lock in. Riot should make the champ to lock in automat when timer gets to 0
HOW DO YOU FORGET TO LOCK IN!? If your not focused during champ select and can't press a single freaking button then you don't deserve to play a game where it matters that you are at your uttmost focused to use teamwork and tactical decision making to win the game.
-Tactical decision summoner.
We didn't have to lock in champions since 2009 and it's NEVER been a problem, apparently, until now.
Of course people will forget about something so pointless.
You already have to accept queue two times and then pick a champion to get into the game.
i really dont understand how it can be so forgetful when there is a bright yellow button waiting to be clicked on.
Yeah, and not clicking it should be punished with perm-bans.
I completely agree with you.
i never said anything about a perm-bans. getting temp-ban for a couple of minutes should do.
i'm really happy this scenario doesnt ever happen anymore:
one of your allies instantly picks
and then tabs out without saying a word. the only roles that have already been called are support and jungle.
does he want top? mid? ADC? nobody knows and therefore nobody knows what role they're playing, and they have to take a random guess during the last 4 seconds to pick their champion while
just waits for the timer to roll down.
now you have to let everyone know what role you're playing AND have to lock in your pick! it's perfect.
also, having to actually pay attention during champ select means you'll notice your support asking you what support you'd prefer they play, or your jungler asking if you're going to need ganks early or if it's ok for him to pick a farm jungler for that late game.
Your logic is sound... except it's completely not.
How does having to do a chore of accepting match multiple times have to do anything with communication?
how does anything in your response have anything to do with my original comment? i suggest you re-read it because you clearly misread a lot of it
If you think my response has nothing to do with your orignal comment, then you have no clue what you wrote yourself.
Every single sentence of your comment is whi, ning about how people now have to communicate where they go and what they pick, while also mentioning things like which support they prefer.
Or to be exact: How they weren't doing it before the change to the champion select.
If this isn't "communication" then I don't know what is.
Actually, I just read that, and I have to disagree with you. Go read it again. Nothing there is whining, in fact, they said the fact that people have to communicate is GOOD.
You really did misread a lot of that because your responses don't make much sense. I think you should take some time to reread the original comment, and then read your responses. Slowly, so you can better understand the words in the sentences.
If you still are confused, I'd suggest starting off more simple and using something like this for help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UR-l3QI2nE
am sure a video game is the most important thing in life. am sure. few seconds don't hurt. but tencent owns them now so everything has to be a chore.
