carrying is impossible when......

1. your bot lane sucks and fed enemy ADC
2. your team has bad focus (they ult the tanks, and use summoner's on them instead of the assasins or AD)
3. your AD has 33 farm.....30 minutes into the game
4. The enemy is already at your nexus, this forces a team fight that you will lose since the enemy is more fed they can just duo tower dive.
5. someone afks, or similar cowardice acts, such as trolling, raging, not being a team player, harassing the team
6. your team has no map awareness (such as mias, don't help when the enemy is 10 health right in front of their face, etc)

yeah i'm taking a break in league. i'm stuck in elo hell, no matter how hard i am carrying, i always get shut down cus my team runs around like a chicken with their heads cut off, REFUSING to take my advice. every team needs a leader, and that's me. but people are SO PRIDEFUL and get their feelings hurt if you tell them their build is wrong, their positioning, etc etc. I'm tired of doing all the leg work.

Moral of the story: Nobody is bronze, you're just stuck in bronze. The only way to get out of it, is to carry your team. So pick a freelo champ and hope for the best.
