Why don't players 1-1-3 instead of 1-3-1ing?

A common tactic in soloQ is to send your top laner top lane, and your jungler bot, with the other three mid lane in order to abuse your splitpusher(s) power. What I don't get, is that I never see teams send their splitpushers top and mid and send their mid adc and support bot lane (or top lane if one splitter is bot).

The advantages to this would be that you can control vision if you're ahead, and you only have to ward one side of the map to see where everyone is. This also truly isolates the far away splitpusher, and they can really push advantages especially if they can get a solo kill. Even if they can't, they can farm the jungle much more safely, and if they move to mid lane then it's a guaranteed numbers advantage, and the person mid to top/bot can collapse very easily, and can also depending on if the team has hard engage on the ad/mid/bot/mid-splitter it's an easy way for them to force a fight and/or take towers and other objectives.

Midlane gives you more control over the entire map, it's the shortest lane, and the most central location to get to any objective. If you have 3 members bot at 20 minutes, the enemy can basically take baron for free. You also have less ability to collapse with your solo laners.
