Rune Tweak anyone?
I was just looking at runes, and thinking, why the heck do we got so much space on a runepage? was the original plan to have more than just 30 levels? its also kind of a mess how they are organized and glyphs, marks and seals....... why not just redo the whole system?
i was thinking that maybe what we get is 3 cores and in a spiderweb design, we attach 5 nodes to the core, and then another 5 to those.
Each Core can hold a Quint, and the nodes, a mark/glyph/seal, each rune has an equal stat boost (ie. attackspeed .5% on all) but they give a bonus multiplier to Offense/Defense/Magic depending on color. Each node's multiplier affects the adjacent node's attribute as well as the core
So say we have a MS +1.5% quint, and 5 0.5% AS marks, being red they each give a 1.5 mult to eachother for being offensive type: Marks (non-matching colors get 1.25 mult), so the .5% becomes .75% based on its own multiplier, and then 1.25% from being next to 1 other, 1.68 for 2 and if there was a third, 2.5%. 5 would be 12.65%, with 9 it would net 22.78% attackspeed without factoring in the quint
Quints get multipliers from all the nodes, but at a lower amount. At 5 it would be 1.5x and 9 would be 2x (1.1 per, and 1.1 for completion) so a 1.5% ms becomes 3%
tldr; runepage web w/ quint @ center, adjacent runes grant multipliers 1.5 for matching, 1.25 for unmatching, 1.1 for quint
