Should Tanks have a hard time clearing the jungle at the start of the game?

I want your opinion about this question ^

I had an experience where once I finished clearing toad and blue wukong came and killed me cuz I had low health '_' I didn't expect Wukong to clear his red so quickly.

No it should be like this:

tank - slow clear, takes less damage carry - fast clear, takes more damage

Riot likes it to be this way:

tank - slow clear, recall after 2 camps because of so much damage taken carry - clear so fast that 1 pot lasts all game

clearly has no idea how to play tank junglers

I've only played A few assassin/fighter jungles, and the only difference is that they can gank better than tanks early on. Their clear times are about the same.

Wrong. Go play tank jungler against any competent team and watch yourself get ganked in your own jungle and counter ganked in lane to the point where you should just AFK instead of feeding.

I can clear most of my jungle on good health with Sejuani, and I'll clear the entire thing if I get some points into Utility.

Can't say much about the state of other jungle tanks, but her and Nautilus with a split in Defense and Utility trees can survive pretty handily

also wukong probably didn't clear his red, he probably had help because wukong is super weak in the new jungle.

he DID NOT have help. He did it on his own. MY issue with the new jungle is that if you do ONE tiny mistake in clearing you will have a hard time clearing for the rest cuz you are very low on HP. If you used 2 pots already after you cleared blue then something is wrong.

There's no way wukong did it on his own and ganked you that early. He definitely had help clearing those camps.

I said he didn't, I know what I saw, mid and bot were in their lanes when I finished frog. He was 40% health left tho.

Some tanks should have difficulty clearing the jungle. Others shouldn't. Depends on their other strengths.

In your story, it's most likely that Wukong skipped krugs and started red with the intention of level 2 cheesing you at wolves. Probably he had warded your blue to know where you'd be.

If you are playing a champion that's vulnerable in the first clear, consider taking yellow trinket and warding the main path towards your third camp.

In my opinion as a tank jungle main, most tanks don't have many problems clearing their jungle early on. Most tanks DO actually have trouble ganking early. Actually. Wu has a very challenging first clear, compared to say Volibear or amumu.

I feel it should be this way though. Since most people play assassins for their early game, and tanks for their late game.

Ive made 1 tiny mistake on nidalee/shaco and found myself in a really bad spot for clearing the rest of the jungle

this also took away my early game power to gank wich is what these champs r about

wherre the tank that screws up early can farm and get his power late game

If your anoyed by getting invaded early game and killed try getting a les predicteble route... and ward l, yes ward early game

for example when i nidalee i start of wolves wich i can solo with my heal than run to crab and kil it place a trinket behind blue and kil that while having vision on al invade spots

buy trailblazer cause it gives you allot better sustain

than il kil gromp and back il be extremly low health thats what i needed this vision for Next jl upgrade jungle jtem and buy health potions so no ones gonne catch me on low health ever

considering there potent ganks and massive teamfight presence in the late, there has to be a trade off somewhere. The question is more if junglers like Vi or J4 pay enough for haveing good jungleclear, powerfull dueling, massive ganks and still potent teamfighting.
