I still haven't found a solid answer to this. Who was it bothering? I thought it was awesome when they first put it in, then sure enough it was removed like 2 patches later. WHY RIOT???

The only thing I can ever hear in champ select now is "They will regret opposing me."
They said it was too much noise traffic in champion select, but I thought it was actually pretty cool. It was nice to be able to hear some of the champ select quotes that weren't yours. Except Tahm and Karthus. Oh my gaaaaawd, their quotes would be ending halfway though the next guy's quote!
There should've been the option to turn them off at least...
A few patches back they tied those sounds to the client music, meaning if your client music is off then you don't hear it and vice versa.
