@Riot : What is Xayah's individual niche meant to be ?

As much as Rakan has the identity of being the only Enchanter that relies on Mobility to get his job done, I don't know any particular reasons to pick her over others ADCs outside of having a synergy with Rakan, while he has arguments to be in a team comp without Xayah.

To be exact, her most distinct feature is her AoE damage and Waveclearing, but she has strong concurrence from Sivir, which has the same kind of AoE Damage and Waveclearing potential.

I am maybe missing something, but it seems to differ from the game design philosophy that you had until now.

I'd argue multi target potential hard CC that doesn't just rely on her ult.

xayah is a zoning control adc, she sets up areas you dont want to fight in and tries to make you fight in them resulting in multiman roots and big damage. In a way similar to caitlyn but not specifically for sieging more mid fight zone control. Also more healthy and better counterplay than caitlyn traps.

She has amazing waveclear and power à la Jhin with a steroid à la Miss Fortune. Other than her root, which needs set up, I personally see no particular reason to pick her over MF or Jhin. Jhin's root is way better and helps the team much more. I don't get why her range is 525 and not 550.
