Creep Block Removal

I've seen it mentioned a few times: remove friendly creep block. But I wonder what that would do to melee Lane champions like Garen, Darius, Katarina, and the hordes and scores of others. Also ranged champions with low mobility simply walking through their minions to avoid being punished for certain mistakes. I understand that getting stuck in your minions is really terrible, I don't find it fun either, but the repercussions on the rest of the game mechanics could be more than anyone bargained for.
