Best you could do is to drag the chat box out of your screen or unbind your enter key

I feels, but they're not gonna do anything like that. I actually once sent a ticket in asking if they could perm mute my account for the many bad reasons chat is around and they said they do not hand out any requested punishments like this and they do not offer a perm mute. They advised me to just mute everybody at the beginning of the match.

I just finally unlocked to honor level 1 after months :') man it takes a while even with constant honors..

Muting everyone doesn't stop me from talking, and it's not even what they're saying, it's what they're doing.
