I want to try to main some new ADC's, but I don't know who's good right now and who isn't. I already play Lucian, Vayne, and Jinx. I'd prefer a ADC that can carry pretty well. Was thinking about Kog Maw, but I have been told that he isn't the best hyper-carry.
I'm not an ADC main, nor am i high in the competitive ladder, but IMO Jhin would be a good choice. He has a lot going for him and Press The Attack is better on him than a few other ADC's due to his already high damage and exceptional range. Also Ez is pretty great right now, but he might be nerfed pretty soon so watch out.

Pick someone you like. They are all Attack Damage Carries and the game will be changed and who is best at that particular moment will be different by the time you learn them anyways.

can make huge plays with her ult and is a pretty good bully in lane so if you're looking to carry I would suggest her.
Draaaaven is always a fun one if you're willing to learn a new mechanic.
Kog'Maw kind of is the best hyper-carry. The problem is that he has the worst early game out of all adcs. If you're patient and want to play for late game, you should try him just for the sake of trying him.
But it's Caitlyn that I personally enjoy the most. Good early and late game (with an oddly weak mid game), super long range, very good for that jungle leash, and killing with her ultimate is so satisfying.
ADC can very hard to play just whoever, whenever. ADC is heavily influenced by META, more so than any other role. But a good idea is to get a variety of champion knowledge. You have focused hyper carries and 1 generalist (lucian). Maybe try a burst like Jhin or MF, someone who uses abilities more than autos, or hits like a truck.
Here is the thing, any ADC can carry (its literally in the name). Playing with what you are good with is your best bet to carry. But, the "current META" fucks you sometimes, so having options is also a good thing. Picking safe carries (safe meaning good or at least playable regardless of META) is always an option too. Champions like MF, Vayne, and Draven are good choices for these kind of champions. They will sometimes be super OP, but never absolute shit tier.
For this current META though, I would recommend either MF, Tristana, or Twitch. You have 3 different playstyles here to choose from.
Mf early q damage is absolutely disgusting and with an ult that u only need point in the general direction of the teamfight shes pretty braindead to be proficient at but fun to excel with tristana as well is pretty braindead depending what rank you are.
