Riot, could you hire an actual balance team?

Seriously. Maybe try looking amongst people who actually play the game.

yeah, riot why don't you listen to this completely random player on the boards who would without a doubt break the game even further and be 100% worst at balancing even the smallest of things in the game

This random player at least has enough common sense not to overbuff shit over and over again. Contrary to Riot. If something is underpowered in their books, they throw every possible fucking buff at it until it becomes broken beyond imagination. How difficult it is to just apply a slight buff and see if it balances the game, then possibly buff further if the previous one wasn't enough? But that's not Riot's style.

nah, you would just nerf everything you don't like to oblivion and buff everything you like to god tier. Do not come here talking like you even know about balance

PS. I never said they should hire me. Just someone who has a slight clue what they're doing.

and guess what? it won't change a single thing no matter who you place on there. It's a team effort and they have clear goals on what to do to each champion. They test several things internally and on PBE, sometimes they screw up, most times they don't. Sorry but everyone that is on the balance team knows what they are doing. You not liking how they do things is a different thing but sorry that doesn't mean anything at all. They aren't going to stop balancing things the way they do just because some MINOR vocal people don't like the way they do things

CotC passed. Lethality changes (specificaly Edge of night) passed. It's not the way they do things, or what they do, it's either they lack common game knowledge, or they're not testing GAME BREAKING changes even close to enough. They let the 40-60% lethality increse pass the internal testing and EVEN the PBE.

It says of their incompetence, I've said it the moment they announced it, it's going to be gamebreaking and screw with literaly everything.

Also, currently on PBE are masteries getting nerfed (one of wich is Warlords) while they're claiming to be trying to "fix" the state of ADC's. Oh and did I mention that "ADC" currently stands for "Jhin or Varus"?

This is the 2nd patch lethality buffs are active, and STILL the only thing they're changing is Ghostblade to give 5 less lethality...

It's the wrong direction. They shouldn't have even brought EoN into the game, since with it, they can just remove the banshee's veil to be unpurchasable on everyone who is AD and even an AD tank at this point.

They should just return maw to give 10 lethality, and remove EoN, that would remedy the bullshit this game's turned out to be atleast to a point where mages would still be relevant since ADC's seem like they're a loong way from that happening.

did i say they were perfect? no!

sorry but i don't give a damn about it. You cannot do a better job and not some random douchebag can either. Sorry you don't like it how they do things, the door is there for you to leave at any given time. If riot listened to every single dumb suggestion that people that "know more about the game and can balance the game better" we would have assassins completely unable to do anything, tanks one shooting everyone and never dying, Burst mages being unable to burst anything, ADCs reduced to nothing inconsistent pieces of garbage, healers unable to heal anything, turrets destroying everyone that goes near them among many other things. Sorry but Riot is doing a fine job, they aren't perfect and they make mistakes. There is too much damage in the game overall and reducing the damage that the masteries give is a fine start. Sorry that they aren't completely gutting everything you don't like in an instant but balance is not that easy

Lets hire the boards as the balance team!

Suddenly, Lee Sin is banished from existence and Sejuani is OP

Ok sure but why1 votes

If Riot decided to banish Lee from existence and make Sejuani op, people like you wouldn't complain

Riot plays the game, duh, and people who play the game would be biased. In order for it to not be biased, you would have to bring in people who are absolutely new to league

Imperial Pandaa1 votes

This might surprise you, but... Rioters do play the game. They also observe matches from the PBE's. It is hard to account for every single thing that a user may do. We are some crazy people who try random and stupid things. If it works we do it over and over until eventually people take notice and it is labeled OP. There is a saying, "Fix one string of code and suddenly 5 more problems exist."
