i think thats the issue tbh.

poor design. we went away from that when ap sion was nerfed years ago before his rework, because he had the burst of a mage in two abilities. literally 2 shot you by walking up and stunning with his q, then the shield explosion finished you off.

The problem with Old Sion was his Q stun had no indication it was actually being used. It was literally the games only point and click stun, and had no actual animation.

I'm pretty sure Riot is trying to get rid of abilities like that, because there's really no kiting, no preparing a cc removal that kind of ability. About the only point and click stun left is Annie's and hers has a charge bar as a warning now.

And no offense. I'm pretty sure Sion still can 2 shot. Hit with Ult with W up, and GG. It's just a little harder to hit. In fact he has 2 2 shots now: Q W and W R.

Full Lethality Sion can indeed still oneshot with a long range R followed by a nicely charged Q.

Doesn't she also have true damage on ppl hit when sleeping?

She has 4 damage spells, 5 if you count the ult increasing Q range and damage. But Q is most of it.

You can't count ult since it doesn't directly damaging enemy. Otherwise yeah 4 damage spells.

Yeah the E does damage on hit, but the real benefit is hitting them while sleeping. Ulti doesn't do damage but can help close the gap on an enhanced auto attack.
