How do you stop a snowball you can't see?

But I cannot, to this day, stop an from snowballing after camping one of my other lanes.

My skillshots can do 1k+ damage and I can 1v4, but if an Evelynn shows up I can't touch them, because how do you land a skillshot on someone you can't see?

I know I can just permaban Eve, but then I have to risk fighting someone that I'm actually just not good at playing against. In my mind the point of bans is to remove a champion that you can't play against easily. This means a champion that you are too unskilled to play against can be removed from the game.

Your ban shouldn't need to be used on a champion that infinitely snowballs merely because of their kit.

You can outplay a Talon, because they aren't infinitely invisible. You can fight a Yasuo, because their wall doesn't stop literally everything. You can shred tanks as Kog'Maw, because he's vulnerable to a well-timed assassin. But you can't stop an Evelynn, because you literally have no way of knowing where she is beside placing Red wards. There's no reason for me to expect to see Red Wards placed by my teammates before a fight in a game where I can't make it past 5 minutes without my team flaming each other over what jungle path to take.
