Do promos purposely match you with ''worse'' teammates?
Or is it just a myth we believe true and put in our heads and coincidentally end up with more trolls in our matches?
Just curious because holy shit sometimes comparing a normal ranked game to a promos ranked game is like apples to oranges. It sometimes is that bad.
Any thoughts on this? Have reds previously stated that promos are indeed harder or just a coincidence?
I know exactly what you mean, i played my promos for silver 4 8 times in 3 days. Every time i got into promos, i get the biggest trolls or people rage and afk. 
It seems that way, but it comes down to statistics. If you had enough wins to get to a series, you "used up" your good luck getting good teams and then get the inevitable "bad luck" and end up with the afk'ers and feeders. The best way is to carry a couple crappy teams into the provs and then have the odds in your favor for a good team. Hopefully that makes sense.
I've literally never had a promo match that wasn't absurd in terms of either how troll it was in general or how hard I had to carry. In all of those I was the only one in my promo series, naturally.
It definitely matches you up with worse/more toxic/troll team mates for promos, it can only happen so many times in a row before it's more than just a coincidence.
In a perfect world, everyone on both teams would be in promos...
Its a myth people use as excuse because they are not good enough yet to advance.

its even worse when you have a very high mmr and you're trying to leave your league but still having to play against players in the next league (win THOSE games to obtain their rank because logic)
