Option to not Play with Duos in Ranked?

Stuff like this irritates me.

How many times I've had to deal with bot lane going AFK because they died a few times, and a general consensus that 90% of the time they end up being a much heavier liability compared to normal teammates is just not fun.

The worst part is the absence of the goddamn matchmaking system when duos are on your team. I've seen games where a Silver 3 went up against a Plat 4 in bot lane and ended up leaving after dying 6 times in 10 minutes.

I have no problem with duos as long as they act like a part of the team, but I can't deal with their usual tendency of acting like assholes to everyone and my team having to put up against a 20th minute FF because Vayne is 15-0 and it's a 4v5. Every game should be winnable but stuff like this is borderline impossible to win.

Having an option to not play with duos, or making duos ineligible for ranked would be a massive improvement to soloQ.

It wouldnt fix it entirely. People still play ons murfs and level up their friends account. I had a diamon heimer in my game a little while ago. Im bronze.

well they worked to fix part of the problem by making it so you cant duo with someone thats more then a tier above or below you, so a silver can duo with a bronze or a gold but not plat+

but really its not duos that are the problem, its assholes. and the problem isnt that they can duo to team up on the team when one of them acts up, its that these assholes are allowed to run free in the game to begin with, duo just attracts more of them then solo, like how dominion attracts so many people that are botting, it isnt dominions fault its just that riot doesnt do enough to prevent it
