what are you supposed to do in this situation?
<warning rant/vent> (with a real question)
just had a ranked game.
about the transition from early to mid game. everything was pretty even team wise.
i was jungle amumu
had finished my jg item/boots/liandrys. so was time to start farming to build my tank/counter items to tank the team fights.
3 team members just tried to 3v4 enemy, lost, and got in chat and said something along the lines of "were gunna lose this game, we dont have a tank" someone else replied "amumu = tank" i replied something like "im not much of a tank yet. still need to build some tank items, let me farm a bit more" and pinged the item i was working on to show how much more gold i needed for it.
for some reason, this SERIOUSLY upset my mid laner malhazar, top lane jinx, and bot lane jinn. so they started literally following me around. and last hitting all my jungle camps i was working on so that i wouldn't get the gold. while flaming me hard core for the rest of the entire match.
i started with a polite in chat "hey, please dont do that. with 9.1/9.2 jg nerfs, we dont really earn much of any gold/xp in lane. and i need gold to get tank items so we can team fight"
of course, they just flammed, and kept doing it more and more. i never got toxic. but got firm and would simply say things like "stop" and ! ping when they did it.
for those reading this that DONT understand all the plethora of ways this is wrong of the team. heres a run down.
a) 9.1/9.2 patches seriously nerfed jungle xp and gold in lane. so we dont really earn much of anything there. and even in our own jungle, our xp is seriously nerfed. if you want your jungler to be effective. they need xp and gold. in this game as example. of the 10 players. i had 3rd highest CS. but was the only player still lvl 16. and well behind in gold. (had 7 kills, 11 assists). while everyone else was 17-18 (mostly 18). lvl advantage matters. if you grief your JG. they will be behind. and even tank junglers will die in team fights quicker than a glass cannon adc.
b) junglers need items too. we need gold to buy items. items = stats. stats = better team fights = wins. if you take all our camps, and we cant get it, we cant just go hold lanes for you to make up for that lost gold, as we dont really earn much of anything in lane. team wise. its MUCH more gold/xp effecient for us to take jungle, and you take lane minions, not vice versa.
c) the time 3 of my team spend following me about to last hit all my camps. they could of spent pushing lanes (most the time this was going on our lanes were in dire need of being pushed, and our poor sup was trying to keep all 3 of them from enemy minions getting to our base). these seconds add up to minutes. and add up to lost towers/kills/drakes/barons.
now. if its later in the game, and your junglers ahead. in level, gold, and gear. feel free to take some camps. if theres no lane minions near you. it wont hurt us. and will probably help team. but at any point when your junglers behind. never do this. dont force us to hold lanes, while you farm our jungle. mathematically its just not smart.

realistically. what am i supposed to do in this situation? all i can see is
a) ask them to stop (did that) b) explain why (did that) c) report them for greifing post match (did that)
but, beyond these things. what can a jungler do? i mean literally. does anyone have some advice/strategies for when your getting trolled like this? other than "yea, it sucks, nothing you can do"
