Best Champions When Mastered

Tøys··2 votes·8,039 views

Hi, I have a question I've been thinking about for a while. In your opinion what champions are the best once mastered, or what champions have the most depth/mechanics. I want to know because I like things that are a challenge to learn not face roll things. So please comment on what champions are the best in your opinion when mastered, or what champs make u impressed when you see a good one. Please no troll posts and Thank you.

aurelion/azir (maybe not anymore) also bard

Azir isn't worth learning. Pretty much the only people who can do well with him are the hardcore mains and/or extremely skilled (read: Master/Challenger) players.

There are weirdos who keep saying AZIR IS TRASH AZIR IS BAD NOW

Because he saw recent nerfs. Hes still extremely strong but does have a high skill cap.

Also that guy was banned multiple times on his boards account im sure you can see why.

"rewarding"

Yes if you can become practically LCS level, sure. Or if you want to spend incredible amounts of time becoming skilled at the game as well as Azir. Master/Challenger mostly.

Some people thing annie is a brain dead champ - they're wrong. Once you really master annie (I've seen it done) you're a beast.

Orianna is really, really hard to learn, same thing with Azir, but once you do you're really strong.

Taliyah is kinda difficult because your E is hard to land and its predictable once you use your W

Azir isn't anymore.Aurelion, Taliyah, Anivia, Fiora, Irelia, Nidalee, Rumble.

[insert high skillcap champs]

Fiora Aurelion Sol Bard Draven Gnar Riven Shaco Gangplank

etc etc.

If you tell me your main roles (like the lane) or preferred champ types (like what kind of playstyle), I can recommend specific ones.

Yasuo LeeSin Riven Cassiopeia Bard Azir AurelionSol Elise Shaco Zed Vayne TwistedFate Thresh Anivia Ezreal these are some people i find on the more challenging side imo

Singed Gangplank Kindred

But TBH, being good at something requires a mastery of game knowledge more than mechanical skill

if you're wondering: singed because he requires a very unique playstyle, and when played correctly he can definitely carry a game by himself, but fail to play him correctly and you feed your ass off.

GP because of barrel management, where to place your barrels etc...

kindred because I feel like he is more of a dueling jungler, who wants to invade the enemy jungler, thus you need to know a lot about counterjunglin, knowing what paths the enemy jungler will take etc.., also when to use ult

In my opinion: AurelionSol Azir Bard Draven Fiora Gnar Irelia Jayce Kalista KogMaw LeeSin MasterYi Nidalee Orianna Riven Shaco Taliyah TwistedFate Twitch Vayne Zed Zyra are all AMAZING if mastered, and have somewhat in-depth kits, I am personally trying to learn fiora, jayce, kog, riven, taliyah, and shaco to the best of my ability.

Seriously ? MasterYi ? Why is he on that list. He has the least depth of every champion on the entire roster. You might be able to get clever with on-hit builds, his double hit passive and Rageblade but that's about it. He's pretty one dimensional.

I think it's because you can doge abilities with q and jump walls with q, his w acts as a auto attack reset, and in low elo you can face roll and win with yi ez but from what ive heard yi is very difficult to play in high elo. You have to know when to go in because he is squishy and if you don't play right you will get cc and die instantly.

From what I understand about high elo games, utility is highly prized. Stuns, roots, silences, displacements, knockups, slows, shields, revives. Yi has absolutely none of those. You might be tempted to say that he has high sustained damage but that is hardly unique. Kindred and Aatrox have that too. Aatrox has an AOE knockup and a slow and Kindred has a slow and her powerful utility based ultimate.

I know there are high elo Yi mains but I seriously doubt they would use Yi if they really want to win like in a tournament or something. Given their skill level, aside from what you mentioned about his Q and W, which themselves are not unique, I can't see what Yi could really offer to a team of super co-ordinated players that another champion cannot offer with more.

I don't main yi but from my understanding he does have some mechanics, but it is mostly decision making.
