Old HUD is Present in Ranked SR Yet Every Other Mode Has the New HUD. Why?

See title.

The first picture with Gnar was taken today around 9:15 PM EST in a ranked duos game (taken with my phone, sorry for the bad quality).

The second picture with Aatrox was taken today around 10:15 PM EST in normals.

I know that there is no way I can add a timestamp to prove to you when these pictures were taken. However, why would I be posting this if it wasn't the case? Feel free to play a ranked game to see for yourself.

Well, it's a massive change, they giving time for the players to adjust.

My guess is so that people aren't tripped by the adjustment period.

As a player who shifts between ranked and normal games regularly, if anything I would think its more confusing to go back and forth between HUDs.

As I said, that's a guess. The other would be that Riot overlooked that part of the game.

As one of many PBE testers who told Riot not to ship the HUD, I certainly prefer the old HUD.

I know this wasn't the point of the post, but I think your two pictures show pretty well how much more visible everything is on the old HUD in addition to being less harsh on the center of your screen.
