I started last season and I feel like im improving this season, I prefer playing mid jg or top, not a big fan of the duo lane but i understand and can play the support and adc roles if needed, anyway, looking at my match history opgg etc, what would you suggest for my "main" role? For a while it had been jg but I've found myself enjoying mid a lot more lately, and also having a better impact and I realize the best way to climb is to have a main role that I try to play most often and get good at that I was just wondering if you had any input on what role might best suit me and any tips for that role (what champs you think i should stick with/stop playing, etc). Thanks in advance.

what you should main is really your decision. play what you enjoy most, it's just a game friend

I would be glad to give you some insights about how you could improve in that sense, but before: could you answer me what are your motivations to be playing this game? What are your personal reasons to enter in that kind of competitive mind and give up other activities to play league?
The line between what you need to know now and what you will need to know tomorrow is very fragile. This means that if you get the information you are seeking now without solving whats bringing that question up [the source of the problem that makes you not be sure how to play] that you are going to see yourself asking for help again in the future experiencing some degree of failure. What depending of your goals is not what you are looking for. I'm sure that the vast majority of players seek to be strong and consistent performers that can fast react and understand what the environment demands of them.
The kind of questions you are asking me show that you are not under a disciplined study habit about your matches or that, at least, you are not being guided correctly to conclude the answers you need from your observations. As the amount of time you intend to dedicate to this game also depends of your motivation to be playing it i'm still going to be waiting for you reply on the questions i asked.
Thank you for your reply!
How do you like your eggs? Scrambled, hard fried, or over easy?

I like it easy personally but for my students always hard fried. If you don't go hard you don't achieve your goals.

It's OK. True coaches are rare on this game so a lot of misconceptions exist.
I have an 85 percent W/R and average 20 kills a game. This is clearly a smurf you dunce

Coaching is not about your elo, but how far can you make someone improve. The best coaches I had in my life they didn't played the game at all (no elo) and talking to them made me achieve masters and even challenger in a certain point and time. Not only that, as I believe that is a small stuff, they made me understand who I am and have a better healthy life.
On the day I discovered that I didn't enjoyed playing the game as much as I enjoy studying it and working with people I wanted to become a coach.
On this game many people call themselves a "coach" because they understand they can give advices. This have nothing to do with coaching.
I could say, answering the elo question, that I'm surprised that after so many years not playing and just working with people I'm not bronze on my account.

I had more than 60 students and coached 4 Brazilian teams. With exception of 4 students and 1 team, all others achieved their results.
Their elo in this game goes from gold to challenger 800+
