People flaming is a cause of toxicity though. People just invent "Oh that's trolling" for people genuinely trying to play well, and 'oh look, they are what i am labeling trolling. PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE'. It's just the LoL version of people just labeling anything they don't like in the real world a neo-nazi / facist.
Are there times people genuinely troll? Yes. But i don't see it as often as the boards seem to experience it.
tldr; I see it far more often people trying to invent excuses for their bad behavior than anything genuine.
