i honestly hate top lane but its the only lane im comfortable on.

every game i feel like im playing vs 2 people and its always a roll of the dice if my jungler knows how to gank top or not.

one mistake and i lose my lane off that.

there is no coming back vs the top lane meta champs.

you make one mistake and ur forced to give up all cs or u lose hp until their jungler comes and dives you.

i really wish the lane actually meant something when it comes to 1v1 laning.

it always depends on who has the jungler who ganks or who is duoing with the jungler.

its so stupid that i can play as safe as possible and if i try to take 1 trade and get dove off it i instantly lose lane.

i really want riot to understand that theres a 1/3 chance of u actually having fun laning top as a melee champ.

either you're going vs a tank that gangbangs you with his jungler or a ranged champ that abuses u from level 1 and then gangbangs you after.

lol I main illaoi and I love top lane. She destroys tanks, and loves jungle ganks. Sure ranged champs sometimes suck but I know most matchups and play those anyways, they just require a change of tactics and build.

nonstop minigames just trying to survive and farm while some champ hits u with one e and gets to relax while ur dodging the tentacles.

if i remember tentacles spawn and attack once in a single spot, Which means you can hug a tentacle and another wont spawn on top of you.

its not a get out of jail free card, but you can probably play off it.

Its been a long time since i had to face an illaoi in lane so i cant be certain anymore.

Top typically is a lane with very low counterplay in some matchups, and some champs are flat out impossible to 1v1 given equal skill.

its not about the champs but rather the junglers abilityt o completely win someones lane for them with just 1 gank.

bot can just freeze and farm since its 2 people instead of 1 .

1 guy cant handle a tank and a khazix diving them level 7 whatsoever if hes not a tan khimself.

solution: play a tank, Riven or Fiora. you have the answer in front of you, but you are refusing to take it. Easy turnarounds for dives into doubles.

Do everything possible to dodge E as it severely cripples her if she doesn't land it, if you don't then either turn and fight to get rid of it fast (use careful judgment after 6) or run away and take the test. The test is super easy as well. Just let one spawn, prefferably near minions so you dont miss much exp/gold, then dodge it and sit as close as possible after you dodged. It won't swing again and won't spawn any other tentacles if you are too close to one already. Just hit it once during the duration and again as it ends to get rid of it without needing to dodge 3-4 of them.
