Just take at this look at post by a Rioter. He explains that Team Builder will be back in an updated fashion later.

Many who just play TeamBuilder play 1 char and 1 role have NO desire to play anything else at 100% guaranteed success at getting that role now have lost that choice.

Lost the choice? That's unreasonable. Of all the draft games I played today, I got my main role in all but one, and in that one I was able to negotiate with my team to give me my main role. Not everyone in this community worships Teemo and refuses to be civil. Many just want to win, and if giving you the role you want improves team morale, then a lot of players will do that.

Besides, you should be able to play at least 2 champions well, especially in draft, where picking any old champ isn't always going to fly. I'm almost certain that the updated Team Builder will allow you to pick the exact role and champ you want. Draft only has 2 in order to speed up queue times.

I can play around 5-10 but mostly top besides Yi jungle and Akali I like her jungle too. I just hope draft has as much smiley faces and fun talk as team builder did. I had some good times in there and hope draft isn't mega serious no joking around kinda stuff.

A choice they didnt have before it was released. Let me remind you Teambuilder has only been out for 1 SEASON.

If they brought back Team Builder for the time being, would you be playing the new draft mode? ......................... I thought not. That's the point, to get people to use the new mode, test it, leave feedback, find bugs, etc. If no one plays it, you'll never get an updated Team Builder. That's why they disabled it. It's not like they disabled your main champ or your favorite item for a month or so. It's the same exact game. I don't know why you're complaining. It will be better in the future, isn't that worth waiting a few weeks?

I know plenty of people who share this opinion. I wrote a post and added a poll so people can vote on this. Team Builder needs to be put back, because players are mad at not being able to choose their role and champ and have fun. On behalf of all the players, this is a bad decision period, no excuse, put Team Builder back now.

Yeah I agree I don't think people should outright quit due to this without first trying it out a decent amount. Now if they can't stand it and overall have much less fun after awhile then I could see that.

Why didn't they when they said team builder was supposed to replace blind pick remove blind pick and do the same they did here? But good thing I have 2 rolls I can play but others might struggle.

new champ select is basically just an upgraded team builder anyways. in team builder you can't change your pick based on your team (switch to an AP so you dont have 5 ADs, switch to someone with a knockup cuz you have a yas, switch ADC's to create a better combo with your support, etc)

In the future yorick will be updated I think that was said years ago, Its gonna happen but how long is in the future?

Yorick is scheduled for this year, and how long do you think it's going to take to test the new champ select? Not years. A couple months, at the very, very most.

Yeah I feel as though they are trying to force people to become better at multiple roles which isn't needed. Personally I could get a much higher rank just playing a role I am better at than 50/50 but that assumes I play ranked which I don't like ranked. I personally don't like counter picks either I just prefer blind and end up having much more fun. It seems to me like draft mode has different player base than team builder did and if team builder had such a small population compared to draft for the most part draft might not change much. To me in draft people just complain more and take things much more serious. Which would be good if this was Xbox live since they would get ran on real fast hehe.

I understand your concerns, but I think you're missing the point of my post. It was intended to calm people down by reassuring them that Team Builder is coming back in the near future, most likely exactly the same except with the updated graphics. Draft currently is exactly the same as the old draft except for pick intent and the 3 separate bans.

It's highly likely that Riot hear all the complaints and know that everyone wants Team Builder to feel the same. Despite popular belief, they do try to please the community you know. Hell, we're going to have a way to earn free skins in the coming weeks. Yet people still complain.

They're removing it so they can update it. How do people not understand this? If they left team builder in, there would be people playing that instead of testing the new draft mode in preparation for creating an updated team builder. I don't hate team builder, I use it a lot and I like it for learning new roles or practicing champs that I don't play a lot. But I still understand Riot's goals, and they temporarily removed Team Builder for the better.

If the updates were worthy of implementation, why wouldn't people play the new mode with those updates?

Enough people have played the mode to find bugs that weren't found on the PBE. You're in the minority for not liking these changes. That's not a problem, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but it seems like everyone just dishes out hate to Rito without doing research or putting thought into things.

I do understand that but it doesn't mean its needed. There would be more than enough people who would still try the new draft while having team builder still available. Also with all the other non team builder people also testing it.

See though what they could of done is keep team builder updated draft and updated team builder in the future too. There was most likely enough people that play team builder than would of tried the new draft to get feedback and suggestions.

Obviously you didn't read that correctly.. It did not say team builder would be back.. It said something LIKE team builder would return. So basically the same crap they forced on us just with more forced positions and less bans...
