there were some Korean lcs players surrender in the past and even before the inhibs went down , but i have never seen players even vote to surrender this year , i just hope surrender vote is removed in competitive play , i just cant stand PEOPLE voting to surrender in ranked while score is 13-20 in 30 min its just stupid to think we cant make a comeback and YES 4 votes to 1 and and we lost that game , i dont think anyone who has high elo takes normal games seriously so just keep it there for the sake of players who say ( stop wasting time and surrender ) , even in ranked games with 5-20 score i vote no because surrender vote is for freakin cowards who cant finish a game they started .

i just wish u could call surrender vote , only and if only your team is getting really smashed voting to surrender in my opinion is considered negative behavior if u have a good CHANCE of coming back I hate this "its already lost guys" when we weren't that behind and we just made a few mistakes riot really needs to put more conditions to surrender vote , or just remove it

Pro players HAVE surrendered and you're not a pro player or even close. Sometime people get so upset that it'd be worse for them to keep playing which can be understandable. You can't choose for someone else. Also never mention pro players again.

because when a game is 9 to 31 and nobody fucking cares anymore why even bother wasting the time

just fucking surrender and save yourself the extra 15 minutes

  • Most of the time we don't Skype or use Curse Voice.
  • We are not even at pro level, where we have teams who wins by 13 vs 9 and they wanted to surrender from one losing teamfight.
  • Pretty sure no one wants to talk about trades or counters, where there's this one idiot who just wants to play the new Tahm or plain afk-farming Nasus, despite enemy knowing they will pick counters against them.
  • If it's a losing teamkill of 1 vs 30, there's no point in continuing.

Pro players play for money. Regular players play for fun.

Pro players actually surrender fairly often. Like 1 out every 20 games or so. At least i've seen 5 or 6 surrenders and I've watched about 100 lcs/worlds games. That's way less often than regular players surrender, but regular players are playing for fun, not to milk the low% win cahnce games where you're really behidn and not having fun. Sure you might win 30% or more of the games you don't surrender, but if you'd surrendered those games at 20 and played new ones you might actually climb faster than if you'd played every game out to 40 or 50 mins
