People not connecting

Yesterday, I was on a 3-4 game win streak in ranked with one win in my promos. I queue up for my second game of my promos and then as we are loading in our never loads fully. We had absolutely no chance of winning and I lost a promo game because of something I had zero control over. Is there a way that we can make it that if someone never connects at all or is there for a very small portion of the game that the other 4 players don't lose LP/Promo games? It just seems like it would make ranked less stressful and be more fair to the other people playing the game.
