After 5 years in this game im done trusting Riot literally anything.

They ruin everything great about this game and add the most useless or horrible things. Everything somehow ends up being broken. Balance is non existent anymore, meta slave players climb while being unskilled when skilled players that play champions they simply like tryhard to get some lp. Perfectly designed champions get a fucking useless mini rework which usually result the champion to be broken or useless (example Aatrox,Swain,Aurelion) Gamemodes and maps that players love are being removed Client is ALWAYS having issues especially in champ select (can't ban, can't pick or change runes) Riot care about players that main Lux and buy skins for her not about players that play a champion without a skin for 4-5 years

Generally it seems like Riot is legit trying to get rid of their playerbase. Or they simply don't care anymore

i used to trust riot a lot tbh, idk how u feel but this is what i experienced: i started maining nid mid in s3 while kassadin, gragas, leblanc and sion were dominating in mid lane, i was excited to beat their ass with an off meta champ. then they gave her a rework and i said, ok, nid was too strong anyways. then i started playing gp, and as u can see, another rework, with a better kit and, well, it made him a skilled champ after that, but thats always acceptable cuz braindead champs are not fun to deal with. i trusted them until like season 7, they started doing ridiculous changes, balancing on champs that dont really need it. at that point i started realized riot doesnt care their players anymore, they dont see the real problems in the game, they dont fix the bugs thats really obvious, they make skins more and more frequently. lux and ezreal got a lot of skins while busted champs are still out there, waiting for summoners to abuse them and climb in rankde games. and i desperately want to see the old riot, the real game company rather than a skin design company.

I quit in season 5, came back to try out the game again. Find out thing's have gotten even worse.

Spent RP to get the Arcade pass. It didn't even last all that long.

Now I'm something like 100 RP away from the PROJECT pass, which could let me get those Jinx and Fiora chromas I really want...

And it just plain isn't worth it to me. I fully regret even trying to get back into this shit. Riot has dashed away all my hopes for this game. Never spending another cent.

Also Riot: we decided to buff ahri in pro scene so she can be more broken than already she is.

You know when I began to play like 3 years ago I actually wanted to buy RP and spend in the game, but as the years went on I realized they don't care about the community, only about getting money from players which is pretty sad.

Currently the game is at the worst state I've seen it and things don't look so bright for the future.

I really lost confidence with Riot's balance team after patch 7.21 when they released Galio's Q one-shot buffs knowing WELL IN ADVANCE from the PBE, forum, and reddit complaints that his Q ratios were way beyond over tuned. If I recall correctly, a Rioter even responded to player concerns on Galio's damage and just smugly shrugged it off. Then don't forget, a couple of patches later they considered allowing Jinx W to crit and thank god that didn't go live.

After reading different opinions I wanted to share mine too.

I started playing League in season 3 and it was so fun. I played league for so many hours with my friends after school and enjoyed that time a lot. Now I can hardly stand playing one normal game. Everything became so frustrating and annoying the last several seasons that I just can't enjoy playing the game. After every rework or new champion, it becomes worse and worse. They are either utter garbage or godlike.

Now I'm playing one or two games in a week and honestly don't miss anything. Lol for me now is just a toxic piece of trash that doesn't worth shit, but that's just my opinion and there are still plenty of people who like the game and enjoy playing and this is not a bad thing.

Twisted Treeline's player-base is so small at this point. Think about dominion, if you remember that, there's no point in hosting servers that cost real money if it makes nothing for you.

Bolded this because I'm learning that it just isn't possible to climb with my boy Zac when Kayn and Kha'Zix can just roll me over without even needing to play well.
