a Xerath main Dreams and hopes from the upcoming immobile mages update
to have an impactful ult in an instant.

I think they could maybe rework Xeraths ult to be the same as AP Kogmaws? But instead of increasing mana costs, use a charge system with maximum 3/4/5 charges, with CD of 26/22/18 secs per charge. Restrict the range to 2500 and lower the AP a tiny bit (0.4 AP) and the base damage (190/245/300) -> (200/240/280) to compensate for the extra charges. Travel time would be decreased by 0.1 second, and mana cost would be 30 mana per shot.
That would truly make him feel like a magical version of the Katushya, with a constant barrage of alternating spells!
I like the idea, but, truthfully I'm scared of it. I'm a Xerath main (when I mid) and his QWE are all so solid, I have a hard time giving him an ultimate that fits in there nicely also. He would actually be too strong.
I guess what I'm saying is that if you play Xerath right, you don't ever need to use his ultimate. And I know what he is capable of with just his basic spells. If I had another spell to lay on people? Forget it.
That being said, I would like to see his ultimate as something more than a complete detach from the rest of his kit. Maybe allow him to use his basic spells at an increased range while it? Idk really............
Dude, xerath is not good in this meta. Knowing that there is an assassin in every game, xerath is so easy to get focused that it doesnt get funny.
His dmg is also nit that great. Compare to lux for example, xerath has an ulti that only works in bronze.
The golden age of xerath has ended, make way for Kass and Fizz.
