is the immobile mages update going to include changes to our Ascendant buddy?
i feel like xerath is really pushed out because all long range mages do a better job than his.
is there anything undergoing to help him Ascend to his former glory?

What exactly do they do better than Xerath? He seems perfectly fine to me
I find it the other way around really. Xerath pushes out other long range Mages because most other long ranges Mages are single target while remians AoE. Not to mention he has an incredibly useful passive.
Why pick Ziggs when you can be Xerath? Why be Lux when you could be Xerath? Why be Syndra when you could be Xerath? He just has so many benefits. I think he will likely be buffed indirectly by the item changes however that are likely coming.
No specifics on who is/isn't in the update yet, sorry.
probably should just revert the slow on his q charge up and he would be a lot more powerful. It sucks when trying to use your Q you get hard engaged on when just about every other champ can launch Q's no problem. OFC xerath q is especially good but come on - I'm just talking about not nerfing his speed while he is charging - he should still have to charge. Also pre rework xerath could still move during his ult if he didn't want the double range feature of his rooting spell - i wish this interaction still existed - where you could come out of your root and fire reduced ranged ults.
i thought the thumbnail was something COMPLETLEY different
xerath rework more like shitwork
It was a flat out downgrade
only reason he was reworked was because he was not played
The rework not only gutted his damage output
hes still not played.
Atleast old xerath has a defined role
He traded all his mobility for THE highest damage output in the game
he practically dealt true damage on all his spells.
