Is Midraka A thing again?

With the new Soraka update, it seems she totally has a mage-y er build now. I was thing that maybe if she got a spellvamp item (will of the ancient?) that maybe even with her poor scaling shed be able to stay in fights the way Vlad does without having to go full tank. just spam Q and E in a teamfight and maybe she'll make it? I don't know, any thoughts?

Starcall's sustain alone is quite good. Only problem is, it's tied to astral infusion, which she cannot use on herself, and doesn't assist her damage. I think she's mechanically pretty tied down as a support now, but time will tell.

Probably if you want to do some derpy strats, you can take soraka mid, but if you're playing competively, I think she's pretty much stuck as a support. I haven't tried her jungle, yet. Seems like she'd really struggle with clear, but if she brought a lot of hp/5 runes and made it through the first clear, she'd probably be a decent "sustain your lanes" jungler.

I think she might be viable as a mid, but not very strong. Also very situational, since her damage is incredibly low. Also, the fact that her healing from Starcall is tied to her Astral Infusion is a kick in Midraka's crotch.

However, she's a lot more fun to play than she used to be so +1 for that.

Well, Raka only has one form of damage now, her Q, she can't heal herself with her w, and her e does nothing but silence and root if they stay in it. So personally I'd say she's just around the usefulness in mid as Nunu. (Minus his heal)
