Is Riot trying to get rid of junglers all together?
I was just looking at the changes set to go up this coming patch, and what really caught my eye was, yet again, the jungle. I'm sure the always-witty patch notes will have some convoluted explanation as to why NERFING ANOTHER JUNGLE ITEM as well as nerfing Jarvan but not Lee Sin even though everyone pretty much agrees Lee is better at everything (or, as the trend has been more recently, it'll be 2 sentences that really don't explain anything), but I'm sick of the excuses. I honestly want to know, what is Riot trying to do to jungling.
There are a total of 4 viable junglers right now. Jarvan, Lee Sin, Vi, and Rek'Sai. Rek has already been nerfed twice I believe. Now Jarvan is getting it (albeit a very small one) after only being strong for a month or so. Vi is the most balanced of them, but frankly I'm still surprised they didn't hit her too. Of course they didn't touch Lee, but that's not a surprise to anyone anymore.
I just.. I don't understand. I'm not really complaining per-say, because I enjoy jungling with 3 of those champions (I always feel like a douche if I pick Lee so I just don't). I could complain that clearing is going to be even harder now that the AD item is getting nerfed even though it sucked to begin with, but I feel like I'm just stating the obvious. Everyone can see Riot's mistakes except them it seems, and I want to hear a bloody explanation.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS JUNGLE. Please. Just a simple, honest explanation.
