I saw the VoD. It is completely disrespectful of the fans to do that to CLG. Regi should seriously release a statement telling his fans to be more humble because I have never seen such awful sportsmanship.
I was there live and was surrounded by TSM fk boys. I chanted CLG and yelled FK TSM as they could clearly hear me. I stood up everytime CLG rekt TSM. It was a good night 55$ well spent.
Though I'm a die-hard TSM fan, I was happy for CLG.
And to be honest, TSM's playstyle is getting so stale while CLG is learning new things and succeeding at them.
I'm glad TSM is going to Worlds, but I honestly believe they will be knocked out early and CLG will be the best performing NA team there
TSM needed to be put into their place. I am not thrilled with the way that the members of the team behave, it is unprofessional and immature at the least. Sure, they are good, but I have never had respect for that team whatsoever. Add that to the constant "TSM BEST TEAM WORLDS" and "THEY ARE THE BEACON OF HOPE FOR NA" and it really gets annoying.
I'm glad they lost. In fact I have had very few occasions with this game that have made me as happy as I was to see TSM lose 0-3
As a TSM fan I was very happy for CLG and their accomplishment. I almost started tearing up when Hotshot did.

TSM fans are obnoxious. I mean really, 2 minutes into the game when teams were just positioning there were random TSM TSM TSM TSM chants. I can understand loving a team, but cheer when they actually do something right at least.
so you hate TSM fans because even after a blowout loss, they still believe in their team and will cheer for them no matter what? That's the sign of true fans if i ever saw it. CLG even after winning, don't have nearly as many fans as TSM. If anything, that shows how great the TSM fanbase is more than ever.
You and the others here whining about it is just showing how salty you guys are even after a great win. Celebrate the win instead of focusing on how dedicated another fanbase is to their team.

Edit: Wow a lot of people in this thread seem to be looking for reasons to hate something. They were only about as disrespectful as the "trash talk" that some of the members of CLG was doing. Most of the people who chant TSM probably just do it to be funny and are not actually TSM fans (Whether or not they are fans is beside the point). The TSM chants are done so many times in games where they are not even involved or they are done when something completely unrelated is happening. It is just a joke that most people know is retarded and out of place. Which makes it really funny. If you want genuinely crazy fans, then look no further than the UFC. They boo everything except haymakers and are actually angry about it.

I'm a TSM fan...I wasn't there chanting TSM, trying to drown out the CLG chants. My team may have lost but I take pride in knowing NA could be a contender at worlds. CLG earned that win and I was just as happy as HotShotGG that they won. Fuck you for generalizing fans and going on to the LoL boards to cry about a chant.
I wanted to be a fan of tsm cause of their midlane, but I quickly veered away from it when I realized that tsm is full of loud and obnoxious people.

As a TSM fan I want you guys to know that this unsportsmanlike behavior is so distasteful and makes me feel ashamed to be a TSM fan at times. CLG and its fan's deserved every moment of their victory and for them to be boo'd at and TSM chants thrown at them when they are trying to enjoy this moment makes me want to switch teams in honesty. Apparently honor and grace in defeat is thing in the past for some people and its sad really. Even as a TSM fan I was happy that CLG won they definitely deserved it and worked their asses off. If I could have any team from NA to represent us at worlds it be CLG. The amount of time and effort they took into playing is paying off. Watching Hotshotgg crying on stage over all that hard work paying off made me tear up right in the feels. They deserve winning this split, they deserve to go to worlds, and by god as my witness they deserve to win worlds over all the blood, sweat, and tears they put into making this far and dethroning TSM.
As a huge fan of both CLG and TSM, I have to say I was disappointed in the TSM fans at MSG. Is it so hard to be graceful in defeat? CLG, Hotshotgg in particular, have been waiting for this for a long time now.
I don't think there is anything wrong with chanting the name of the losing team in support. If you like a team, like them all the way.

Let's be honest here, I guarantee you the situation wouldn't be much different if TSM and CLG's roles were reversed.
To be fair I'm a TSM fan and I didn't even WATCH the tournament, I just find the players to be fun to watch in solo queue, more so than most pros. So hey, CLG won? Good for them. TSMs in-house fanbase was a bunch of little shits? Good for them, let them be assholes, who cares? People are going to be disrespectful towards people for your entire life, everybody says they want it to change but it never does because the human race as a whole is a bunch of jerks.

I'm not really a supporter of any specific team, and CLG clearly deserved this victory, but what is wrong with the TSM fans supporting their team even in a defeat?
I mean, if they were shouting "fuck you CLG" then you'd have a point, but to me chanting "TSM" isn't what I'd call disrespectful. (disclaimer: I didn't watch the moment where CLG was handed the trophy so if they were booed or anything, then I agree with you OP)
