What does this entail? Are there plans for Shen in the near future?

When asked about Shen and if they team has any balance changes planned for him, Meddler noted:
"Planning to hit up a couple of people about Shen this week. Will get back to you once I've got something useful to pass on."

I think Shen and Urgot are next on the re-work/re-balance list.

Shen might be due for something like that, don't think Urgot would be though (given that his buffs he just got, and will still be getting are to keep him in a decent spot until his rework, which I think has been stated to be a ways off.)

Urgot needs a huge rework. I think they have something Maokai level planned for Shen. Same basic abilities, changed effects and numbers.

I predict they'll change his global ult to have a maximum range and dramatically reduce the CD. Or even better, give the ability a reduced CD based on how far away the target you cast it on is. The closer they are, the lower the CD.
