So, me and a friend have recently tried a duo bot which we call our "super secret combo" - Blitzcrank Zed See, our logic is that

  1. Assassins wreck ADCs
  2. Assassins cannot walk through an ADC's aa's to get to the ADC safely
  3. Blitz makes the walking distance a lot shorter

It appears to be working - sure, it depends on me (Blitzcrank ) getting my hooks, but otherwise, we appear to be wrecking fairly consistently, and we are in Bronze/Silver, so the other guys generally don't dodge super-well. What I'm wondering is what a good Blitz build would be for this combo; I've been trying a cd/ap build, and that seems to be working pretty well, but is there any better builds?

item 3027 - health+mana+ap. Very nice item 3001 - MR, which is more necessary since elementalist lux came out, some nice ap, and dat passive, makes my ult better. Also cd, which is important item 3742 - makes positioning easier, gives health armor, and makes my E hit like a truck item 3020 - required item 3100 - ap, cd, and more E/truck hitting item 3165 - I generally sell my item 3401 for this as my last item. More ap/mana, and the 20% cd puts every one of my spells (including the ult) on about a 5 second cd late-game.

What do yall think?

PS - I know from experience that this build can 1 shot any squishy building offensively, but is there any better way?

If youre looking for a cheesy kill lane with a melee carry, yasuo is better. Heres why. 1: you actually have knockup synergy with blitz as his Qand E knockup targets. 2: windwall is most useful against adcs as they are all projectiles. 3: Its a lot easier to set up kills and you only need to be level 2 or even 1 to kill.

Oh i also forgot to mention how dangerous you become once PD is purchased

Only way this strategy falls shorts is tower wrecking, but Zed is a pretty good split pusher, and with Blitz feeding him kills I see no problem.

replace zed with any bruiser with good early burst and you get a decent kill lane. blitz is pretty good to have in any kind of lane, but try Xin, Pantheon, J4, Riven or Jayce. Reason Yas is not that great is he falls off after level 3, and stays that way until you actually finish your zeal item, which, as Tyrone said, he becomes dangerous. That period is when you should be owning them hard, so you should be picking something that kills hard from level 1-9.
