Can you get demoted for inactivity
I'm s5 and I'm just wondering if I stopped playing for a while would I get demoted? And how long would it take?

You can only decay for inactivity in Plat+ (in which case, you could be demoted due to it). You can read more about that here; https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204010760#h3q1
In gold and beyond yeah, you get demoted for inactivity.
Thank goodness lol cause I'm thinking about taking a break from league for a bit. I need to get my life together again.
