Scripts are very rampant 4chan and reddit has databases for all the websites that sell these and they have logged 11 million scripter accounts just on NA alone. Korean servers the numbers are 3 fold. That isn't factoring in cheap botting scripts or the very expensive ones that level for you or IP farm.

Riot just sued one of the smaller companies selling them, but really riot is in on it. These scripting companies make 250$ a month for these full scripting packages per person. The yearly income is estimated to be around 2 billion with a B.

These bots even talk to you just like the ones we saw David Brock using during the 2016 presidential election, most people don't even know they are talking to bots, twitter too just got called out for 45 million of them.

Tencent bought out riot games controlling share and within 2 months their player base doubled, the only reason to even do this is because they had something to hide and wanted protection, American laws have no jurisdiction over tencent as they are the second richest privately owned Chinese company.
