Would you prefer a tank meta or burst meta?

So I see a lot of people saying if we buff the champs to make fights more forgiving and less burst, we would have a tank meta again and at the same time seeing a lot of people hate how high risk the game is right now in the boards.

If you had to choose either, which one would you want?

At this point I'd prefer a Tank Meta.

At least I don't get 100-0 in the middle of my team during tank metas.

If the tanks are not doing as much or more damage than fighters while building full tank then a tank meta.

people think they want a tank meta because they dont remember how miserable it is or never actually played it, in a tank meta dmg isnt a non issue its actually still a MAIN issue, in a tank meta tanks are not only pretty much impossible to take down but they do absurd dmg for how unkillable they are, if you think adcs get blown up now i hope you dont remember when a maokai could just jump right on you and take you down in seconds and your team had no way to help it, dont like chain cc? have fun with a tank support jg and top lane all chain ccing any squishy thats barely gets in range for 10 secs. even the top comment hear says they dont wanna get 100-0 in the middle of a teamfight, if you think a tank meta will make that not happen your sorely mistaken, at least the people bursting in this meta are able to themselves be killed and your not dealing with a never dying maokai solo ruining a match because you made the mistake of not banning it

I think that all "classes" be viable regardless of meta, and the meta had to do more with champs than classes.

I think when people refer to "tank meta" it means making tanks much harder to kill as opposed to being one shotted by tanks. Honestly tho, tanks need to do less damage wise for this to be ok.

Tank meta is when tanks are picked everywhere and can one shot adc's and 1v1 bruisers and are an unstoppable force. We dont want this

neither i prefer if the game is won by skillful plays not by champ select burst or tank. imagine if raid bosses or pvps ( other than league) have a burst team or a tank team and see how quickly they both fall apart due to it being not optimal. if games are like that at least its worth looking at where if you have a bursty comp you will need at least 2 tanks that arent designed for damage only utility and shields or taunt maybe some damage in there as a reward for ccing the enemy (bonus damage while cced only for the user of cc). that in my opinion is better than the tank or burst.

Nether. I want a Meta where killing someone no mater who you are takes more then 5s

I dont want Tanks that are unkillable

I dont want Mobility where you cant trade or skill shot someone.

I dont want ADC that can Heal 10-100 in 2 auto attacks

I dont want 1v9 champs

I dont want Hypercarries

I want Team fights that last 10-20s

I want Tactics to be a thing

I want counter play to be a thing

I want skill in a champ to be a thing and not champ skill (Irelia, yasuo, Yi, ChickenDyr)

I would rather a balanced meta, a meta without the oneshots unless way ahead and playing properly.

But if we had to get stuck with one of the 2 i would rather go for a tank meta where the game is actually PLAYABLE!!!

Also a note: For a tank meta the tanks have to have high dmg, so if tank dmg is very low we won't get a tank meta it would be closer to a balanced meta.

I have the feeling that, in a tank meta, the fights require actual skill and last longer. Watching any gameplay or playing by oneself is boring if you just fight and the fight is over in 4 seconds because akali pressed one button... I think that tank metas and damage turned down on carries is the key to making things counterplayable. In burst metas ur dead before you even notice why you get damage. Having time to react and if its only 1 sec makes the game less frustrating.

Outside of the occasional TF, I don't really play burst champs, so I always prefer metas that favor tanks/bruisers.
