Flex Queue matchmaking is still broken

Not sure how to upload the picture but i included the op.gg. How does 2 silvers, 2 bronze and a gold 5 get matched against 3 golds and 2 plats? I understand this is flex queue and solo queue mmr doesn't apply, but this is ridiculous, my silver and bronze friends had no chance. If i remember the mmr difference was almost 450 between the teams.

So happy this mode is being replaced with tournaments soon.

Full disclosure: this is my second account, my main is gold 1, I had just dodged a game in champ select so i played with my friends on this account instead. I generally just play flex or normals with them on my main.

Yeah the shitty flex q should take into consideration the player's highest league to get people around where they should be. If their solo q is gold and flex is bronze it should drag their mmr up to somewhere in between for flex queue.

One game I had a premade of 3 brand new to ranked, all with 0% winrate in their solo queue placements then threw them into a ~silver 3 game for flex. Game after that had a bunch of bronze allies vs silver & gold opponents, quit in loading screen after seeing that and they even voted no to a remake when I gave them a lifeline out. Didnt feel like having to hard fucking carry that if it was even possible to carry some super heavies

It's no fun for anyone. Either it has insanely mismatched games, or people want to try then get grouped w those who treat it like a practice queue and dick around because of how poorly setup it is

op.gg only displays solo rank on that screen but it was a flex game that uses flex rank. You already know this because you know that you are not actually silver 3 in flex, you are unranked, so I'm not sure why you made this thread asking a question you already know the answer to.

No one cares about Flex Queue.

I barely ever see balanced matches on Flex.
