She's allowed to do a lot of damage because she's actually meant to be a DPS mage, she's just support because of her poke. Try to get her to peel an assassin.

but the main problem is that she's supper oppressive in lane.

Her range + plants + TL will literally chunk half your HP in 1 rotation.

Then she will just do it again after her CDs are up.

let me just pour 450 ( more than first blood gold ) into a fucking defensive item on ad during laning

Because reducing her damage, is gonna solve her flurry of Plants + TL combos.
